MAYFAIR EXPERIENCE
The whole house, or none of it
Take the house and it becomes entirely yours, with nobody else checking in and no road noise on the ridge. Lunch goes out on the Garden Lawn when the cloud stays down the valley, drinks come before dinner at the Poolside with the tea running to the horizon, and the night closes around the fire in the Drawing Room. For hosts and guests alike it feels like a home, not a venue.Take the house and nobody else checks in. Lunch on the Garden Lawn, drinks at the Poolside with the tea to the horizon, the night by the fire in the Drawing Room. A home, not a venue.
Twelve rooms is the ceiling on every number below. Everything is all-inclusive, because there is nowhere else within an hour to eat.
The whole estate to one party. Twenty-four adults across twelve rooms, the kitchen and the staff for the duration, and no other guests on the property. It is the only way the Manor takes a group, and the reason it works for the ones it suits.
Where a corporate group ends up after dinner and where the offsite actually happens: heirloom furniture, a fire lit from October, and no screen unless somebody brings one.
The lawn and fountain in front of the bungalow, which is where lunch goes on a clear day and where a small party is held when the cloud stays down the valley rather than coming up it.
The pool terrace, with the garden dropping away below it. A get-together rather than a function: drinks before dinner, with the tea running to the horizon on every side.
