MAYFAIR EXPERIENCE
Four halls at Jayadev Vihar
An evening here begins in the corridors, guests arriving together in a warm crush of greetings. Then the doors open onto red and gold under a chandelier, the mandap at the far end, and nothing standing between anyone and the moment. The Board Room keeps a working day calm and focused. When the last guest has gone, the hosts need only go upstairs to sleep. An evening begins in the corridors, then the doors open onto red and gold under a chandelier. Areas and capacities as MAYFAIR publishes them.
The largest pillarless hall in the house and among the largest in eastern India, under a twenty-two foot ceiling. A hundred and twenty-six around a U when the day is a conference rather than a wedding.
Two sections that work as one room or divide in two, also at twenty-two feet. A hundred around a U. The answer to the mid-scale evening, when the Central Hall is more room than the party needs.
One table the length of the room with the screen at its head. Thirty-five around a U, which is the working day rather than the banquet.
The smaller of the two working rooms, equipped to the same standard, for the meeting that runs alongside the main event.
